The VLC media player app has been updated with a host of new features and fixes.

  • The most notable new feature is the ability to play 360-degree videos. To use this feature, simply open a 360-degree video in the app, and it will automatically start playing. You can also use the new touch controls to pan and zoom around the video.
  • Other new features in the update include playing 3D videos, improved support for high-resolution audio, and support for the Google Cast protocol.
  • Fixes in the update include a crash that could occur when using the equalizer and a problem with the playback of some MP4 files.
